Terms of use
The terms for using the 60 free KG To Liters converters: what the results mean, where to double-check them, acceptable use and liability.
Agreement
Using KG To Liters means you accept these terms. Stop using the site, if you do not accept them. The 60 converters are free for personal, educational and business use.
What the results are
Every result is an estimate from the weight you enter and a typical density. Densities change with grade, temperature, moisture and packing: diesel at 0.832 kg/L can range from 0.820 to 0.845 kg/L, and flour can pack 20% tighter than the poured value. You decide whether a result suits your task.
Where to double-check results
Check results against a measured density or an official document for 5 kinds of work.
- Fuel sales, custody transfer and tax use the density on the delivery ticket or certificate.
- Aviation fuel loads and weight and balance use the fueling slip and the aircraft manual.
- Chemical dosing and hazardous materials use the safety data sheet (SDS).
- Infant feeding, medicine and diets use the product label and medical advice.
- Packaged goods labels use the legal metrology rules of your country.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not overload the site, scrape it at a rate that slows it down, try to break in, upload harmful code or present the results as certified measurements. You may link to any page and quote results with a link back.
Content and code
The text, tables, diagrams, design and code of KG To Liters belong to the site operator. You may print or save pages for your own use. Do not copy whole pages or the converter code to another site.
Availability and liability
The site runs as is, with no promise of constant uptime, error-free results or fitness for a set purpose. The operator is not liable for losses from using the site or relying on its results, as far as the law allows. These terms do not remove rights that the law protects.
Other services
The contact form sends messages through FormSubmit, and links can lead to other sites. Those services follow their own terms.
Changes and disputes
Updated terms appear on this page with a new date. Contact the operator first to settle a dispute. These terms do not pick a governing law or block a claim in a competent court.
